January 2024 HR Compliance Deadlines

  • January 31: Distribute Form W-2 to employees
  • January 31: Due Date for Form 1099-MISC with boxes 8 & 10 to be sent to recipients
  • January 31: Forms 941 and 720 Due
  • January 31: Distribute Forms 1095-B and 1095-C to employees
  • January 31: Form 1099-NEC to both the IRS and recipients
  • January 31: Form 940 due (if quarterly FUTA taxes were not paid when due)

 

February 2024 HR Compliance Deadlines

  • February 1: Post OSHA Form 300A
  • February 10: Annual Form 940 Due (if quarterly taxes were paid when due)
  • February 15: Furnish statements to recipients for Forms 1099-B, 1099-S, and 1099-MISC (if amounts are reported in boxes 8 or 10)
  • February 28: Deadline to file ACA Forms 1094-B, 1094-C, 1095-B, and 1095-C (paper filing)
  • February 28: Form 8809 Paper Filing Due
