David joined XpanseHR in 2023 as the firm’s Compensation Practice Director. A senior Compensation and Benefits executive, David possesses over 30 years of experience in designing and implementing innovative compensation and benefits programs that support business growth and drive employee engagement.
Throughout his career, David has served as a trusted compensation advisor to business leaders and stakeholders across various industries within for the for-profit and non-profit sectors. His expertise spans all areas of compensation program management, including executive and employee compensation, benefits and total rewards programs, mergers & acquisitions, stock plan administration, compensation compliance, performance management, labor relations and change management.
As Compensation Practice Director, David works closely with clients to provide program strategy and design that helps align their compensation initiatives with their overall business objectives. He brings a consultative, collaborative and hands-on approach that allows him to understand his clients’ unique needs and deliver sustainable strategies, processes, and controls that build organizational value and drive business growth.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Syracuse University and an MBA in Accounting from the Zichlin School of Business at the City College of New York. He also holds a Certified Compensation Professional designation from WorldatWork.
Outside of work, David volunteers his time as an EMT and serves as Vehicle Lieutenant of the Berkeley Heights Volunteer Rescue Squad. He has also served as Chairman of the Board of the Chemical Dependency Center and as an Executive Board Member of the Jewish Community Center. In his free time, David can be found spending time with his family, playing the guitar and following Syracuse sports.
