XpanseHR is pleased to announce the appointment of David K. Birnbaum to the firm as Compensation Practice Director.
David is a senior Compensation and Benefits executive, possessing over 30 years of experience in designing and implementing innovative compensation and benefits programs for businesses across various industries within the for-profit and non-profit sectors.

In his new role, David will be responsible for leading the firm’s Compensation Practice and the strategy, design, and implementation of compensation solutions that align with clients’ business goals and objectives. As an important part of the firm’s leadership team, David will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance organizational value and drive business growth.

Most recently, David served as Director of Human Resource Management, Compensation and Classification at New York City Health and Hospitals. Prior to that, he served as Principal at SullivanCotter & Associates. He holds an MBA in Accounting from the Zichlin School of Business at the City College of New York, and is designated as a Certified Compensation Professional by WorldatWork.
